What is "Puggo's Puppies"?
It is my telecine transfer and restoration of the five Star Wars Kenner cartridges.
Each cartridge contains super8 film which had to be extracted from the cartridges
(breaking the cartridges in the process), winding the films onto a reel, then capturing
the film with a digital scanner. The films were silent.

For the video capture, I used a Retroscan scanner manufactured
by Roger Evans of Moviestuff.
Capture was 1080p.
DaVinci Resolve was used for cleanup and editing.

Jun 19, 2026 - Used DaVince + DCTL to reduce red shift.
Jun 18, 2026 - Used DaVinci Resolve to stabilize film on corners.
Jun 17, 2026 - Did backwards scan to facilitate capture near the film ends.
Jun 16, 2026 - Finished raw captures (several) of the films.
Jun 14, 2026 - Finished spooling films, created forum thread.
Jun 12, 2026 - Started breaking open cartridges and spooling films.
