This site is devoted to RETURN OF THE PUG.

What is "Return of the Pug"? It is my telecine transfer and restoration of a 16mm print of Star Wars Ep.VI, Return of the Jedi. The film was borrowed from a source who wishes to remain anonymous, and who for now will go by the name Jaxxon. This is the same Jaxxon that provided me with the two prints used to make the Puggo Grande, and the print that is being used to make Puggo Strikes Back.

The project finished on August 21, 2017, that's 5 years after it started!

Return of the Pug discussion thread at originaltrilogy.com.

For the video capture, I used a 16mm Workprinter manufactured by Roger Evans of Moviestuff. The Workpriter was further modified to capture more of the frame, to more effectively capture the scope print. For the optical audio tracks, I used an ELMO 16CL projector. I used CoolEdit to clean the audio, and Vegas Video to sync the tracks.

Note - this project is archival only, and I do not distribute my projects.
